Samanhub Nepal B2B Marketplace guarantees the security of buyers’ payments when transactions are conducted through our platform. Payments will not be released until the buyer or the shipping carrier confirms that the product delivery is complete.

Given the three-tier approach, payment methods may vary for each trade tier based on volume and mode.

Payment Methods

For most import and export activities, buyers can choose from several payment methods, including Letter of Credit (LC), bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal. For bulk orders above a certain threshold, the seller may require an LC. For high-value transactions, we strongly recommend using the Samanhub Nepal B2B Marketplace.

Letter of Credit (L/C)

An LC is a written commitment from a bank on behalf of the buyer to pay the seller for goods/services within a specified date, provided the terms of the LC are met and the required documents are presented. This ensures payment upon fulfillment of specified conditions and is commonly used for large commercial transactions.

Bank Transfer

Buyers can transfer payments directly to Samanhub Nepal B2B Marketplace’s bank account. Bank details are provided on the platform before completing the transaction. Please provide the payment transaction number when completing your order. Funds will be held until the order is fully delivered.

Other Payment Methods

  • Credit Cards: Visa, Dollar Card, American Express.
  • Bank Transfers: Direct transfer using provided account details.
  • Mobile Payments: Digital wallets or mobile banking services (subject to availability).

Currency

All transactions are conducted in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) unless otherwise specified. Swift payment transactions may incur conversion fees or exchange rate fluctuations.

Payment Processing

  • Credit card or mobile payments are processed immediately upon checkout.
  • Bank transfers may take several business days depending on the bank.
  • Orders are processed upon confirmation of payment, following a three-stage system:
    • 50% advance payment at order placement.
    • Remaining 50% after product release/dispatch confirmation.
    • Orders without initial 50% payment are not processed.
