conducted through our platform. We ensure that payments will not be released until the buyer, or
the shipping carrier confirms that the product delivery is complete.
Given the three-tier approach, payment methods may vary for each tier trade based on the trade
volume and mode.
For most import and export activities, buyers can choose from several payment methods,
including Letter of Credit (LC), bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal. For bulk orders above a
certain threshold, the seller may require an LC. For transactions involving significant monetary
values, we strongly recommend using the SAMANHUB.COM platform.
Letter of Credit (L/C)
An LC is a written commitment from a bank on behalf of its customer (the buyer/importer) to pay the seller/exporter for goods/services within a specified
date, provided the terms of the LC are met and the required documents are presented. This method ensures payment upon the fulfillment of specified
conditions and is commonly used for large commercial transactions.
Note: This method is applicable for large commercial orders used in import and export.
Bank Transfer
Buyers can transfer payments directly to SAMANHUB.COM’s bank account. Bank details are provided on the platform before completing the transaction.
Please provide us with the payment transaction number when completing your order. Once the payment is received, we will hold the funds until the order
is fully delivered. Note: This method is applicable for import/export, national and local activities within the platform.
Payment Methods
Samanhub accepts the following payment methods:
• Credit Cards: We accept major credit cards, including Visa, Dollar Card, and American Express.
• Bank Transfers: Businesses can make payments via bank transfer using the provided account details.
• Mobile Payments: We can accept mobile payment options such as digital wallets or mobile banking services, subject to availability and compatibility.
Currency
All transactions on Samanhub are conducted in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) unless otherwise specified. Swift Payment transactions may be subject to conversion fees and exchange rate fluctuations.
Payment Processing
• Payments made via credit card or mobile payment are processed immediately upon checkout.
• Bank transfers may take several business days to process, depending on the banking institution and payment method used.
• Orders will be processed and fulfilled upon confirmation of payment receipt which follow a three-stage system:
1. Customers placing an order through the Samanhub platform must pay 50% of the total bill amount at the time of placing the order.
2. The remaining 50% balance shall be paid by the customer after the release of the products (i.e., at the time of dispatch/shipment confirmation).
3. Orders without the initial 50% advance payment shall not be processed or confirmed.
Payment Security
Samanhub is committed to protecting the security of payment transactions. We utilize industry standard encryption and security protocols to safeguard sensitive financial information and prevent unauthorized access or fraud.
Payment Disputes
In the event of a payment dispute or discrepancy, businesses are encouraged to contact Samanhub’s customer support team promptly to resolve the issue. We will investigate any reported payment discrepancies and work towards a satisfactory resolution.
Late Payments
Late payments may result in additional fees, interest charges, or suspension of account privileges. Businesses are responsible for adhering to the specified payment terms and ensuring timely payment of invoices to avoid any penalties.
Changes to Payment Policy
Samanhub reserves the right to update or modify this Payment Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Samanhub website or notification to affected parties.
